We are launching the campaign on May 1, 2024, and we are embarking on a challenge to cover as many kilometers as possible, which will be converted into real money and will go to the “Lepszy Start” Foundation for the construction of “Dom na zawsze Przylądek”. The creation of home is a great opportunity for a normal life for many adults on the autism spectrum, so it is especially important for us to publicize the event and raise as much money as possible.

For every kilometer traveled during the challenge, all strategic sponsors, along with BPX, will donate one PLN to the designated charity – therefore every May walk, run or bike ride is a chance for us to add our contribution to the construction of this unique home.

How to join the challenge?

1. Download the Activy app on your phone and register or log in.
2. Select “Kilometry dla Przylądka” from the list of open challenges.
3. Customize the settings, you can also connect sport apps Garmin, Polar, Strava. You’ll also find Apple Health or Google Fit useful for counting steps.

We also encourage you to pass the information on and inspire others to take part in the challenge. The campaign spans the globe, and the app is also available in English. In this year’s challenge we are competing for as much as PLN 500,000, hence any additional support will be a great chance for us to reach our goal.

In addition, to meet your expectations this year we are launching step measurement.

1 km on wheels or with steps ➜ 1 PLN.

Steps is a much better way to record your walks in fun with GPS. It doesn’t require you to take your phone out of your pocket and doesn’t use up much of your device’s battery. It also counts walks in buildings, such as when shopping in a large mall.

NOTE – to count steps sync the Activy app with a step counting app:

• Polar
• Garmin
• Strava

How to connect the apps?

Here are the simple instructions:

1. Go to Settings (the gear icon on the home screen).
2. Select “App integrations.”
3. Select your app and follow the instructions.
4. Once connected, you will see a green “connected” sign next to the app.
